Walking Talking Sparkle Tree

I have an idea for a Groot and Rocket drawing that I wanna do, but before that I decided to try and draw some Groot as a test, since his design is...he's a walking tree, I mean, what's not to really enjoy about that? Turns out he's therapeutic to draw and it really took me back to stuff I did for college. :3c

Like seriously - walking, grunting tree creature that can emit sparkles. In retrospect, how was he not going to be my favorite?
